Hello All,
Greetings from The Revolution Johnston County’s first and only youth wheelchair Basketball team based in Clayton, N.C..Team Revolution offers an opportunity for youth up to age 18 with a lower extremity disability to participate in an organized and competitive team sport. Our team practices weekly at The Clayton Community Center located at 715 Amelia Church Road. Team Revolution is a registered member of the National Wheelchair Basketball Association and participates in tournaments all over the Southeastern United States.
Our team goals are to teach teamwork, sportsmanship and values through our wheelchair basketball program. We strive to empower our physically disabled youth with the confidence to realize that no aspiration is out of their reach, and that they are a vital contributor to our society's future.
As with any endeavor of this kind, financial support is paramount to the continued success of the organization. Our team is attempting to raise $2,500 dollars before our first tournament in Atlanta Georgia on November 4-6. Any and all money raised will be used cover the uniform cost for each child on our team along with other operating costs including travel, lodging, tournament entry fees, sport chairs and equipment purchases.
Please consider a tax deductible annual sponsorship or one-time donation to Revolution Adaptive Sports (a 501c3 Non-Profit EIN 46-5542634); so that we may continue to provide sporting opportunities to our area's physically disabled youth.
Sincerely,
Billy Gartin
