Reversed Rescue Needs Your Help.
In December 2015, Reversed Rescue officially opened its doors to rescue and training in Los Angeles, CA. After being open for less than three weeks the facility caught fire after a short in the power from a long onset rainstorm in LA. In the fire all Reversed Rescue's supplies, kennels, most records and ability to function were completely lost. Each dog made it out to safety but were all forced into a partner holding facility where boarding costs are adding up everyday. Each dog was under specific training for their rehabilitation needs along with special diets for medical dogs including RR's advanced cancer pup, Emerson. Emerson receives daily skin treatments and several medications to simply live out what life he has left in peace and in the hands of caretakers that love him. Emerson was saved from Downey Animal Shelter and upon vet visits to treat severe exterior wounds was diagnosed with skin cancer that had progressed internally to the heart, leaving him with around 16 weeks to live in the care of RR before his time is up. This is what RR does, we give hope to those never given a chance, do everything necessary for the abandoned to feel love and know true care as they always should have.
The fire was devastating. The facility was damaged beyond repair and is now closed off. RR now needs to move locations and reopen a facility. We are frantically working with fosters and partners to take care of the many RR dogs but vet bills and boarding costs are soaring. Able fosters and adopters are hard to come by for special needs dogs like the cases RR takes on. So we ask our community, our followers, our animal lovers all alike to help us rebuild, help us continue to save and continue to mend the breed so misunderstood.

Reversed Rescue is a registered 501 (c)(3) Non Profit in Los Angeles, CA. Since October, of 2015 RR has saved, rehabilitated and rehomed 46 Pitbull Breed Dogs in Los Angeles that were victims of Fighting, Neglect or Abandonment. RR has also transported and facilitated pick up/drop off for over 20 Pitbull breed dogs since October 2015.
We are called, Reversed Rescue. A rescue facility not just focused on rescuing the Pitbull breeds but also about rehabilitating them to be ready to find a forever home. We take on Fight/Bait dogs and severe medical cases along with stray pick-ups all over LA. We are a full training sanctuary for animals and their owners as well, new or old. A facility focused on the animal and the human, hand in hand (Paw). We empower owners with knowledge and focused skill so they can not only have a great pet companion but be a positive voice for the Pitbull breeds under BSL (Breed Specific Legislation) that are flooding shelters and being killed daily. We strive to spread the positive voice for our Pits that have a negative outlook in the media and put a stop to Kill Shelters in LA. We can’t do this alone, we need your help. It is up to us as humans to be great the animals that only want to love and serve us.

Share this with your family, friends, co-workers, fellow animal activists, animal lovers and anyone else you possibly can. Besides sharing, we ask that you open up your heart and share positivity for animal rescue and adoption everyday. Being a positive spokesperson against BSL, being a loving advocate for dogs or anything else that keeps negativity out of the picture is more then most try to do, so be a voice for these abused, neglected and abandoned animals and show people it’s about being a good owner and person just as much as donating to the cause.
