We were homeless all of last year (my sister and I)
I was homeless due to fleeing abuse, and she was just upon bad times.
We moved into our current place, and rent was being calculated, and I fell around 2 months behind, when sister (who had a job, I do not, being disabled) moved to Florida with her BF.
Well, said BF choked her unconcious and, when she awoke, he threatened her with a knife.
So she moved back here (which was a further drain on limited funds, but we managed), and got her job back.
Rent was then RETROACTIVELY calculated and, after missing this month (due to overdrawing last month to EAT), the number you see on the right of the photo is what we owe.

Got apartment with sis 2017.
Housing was still calculating monthly rent, had a guesstimate but Sis's job was not returning paperwork to verify. Fell a month behind.
Sis moved to Miami with BF. BF choked her unconcious, threatened with knife. Emergency plane ticket back. Missed another month due to this.
Rent finally calculated, but RETROACTIVELY calculated (since sis had the job the entire time, minus the month she was in Miami), so I owed no matter what. I just owed MORE.
Overdrew bank account to keep food on table by accident.
Missed this month after overdrawing last month to keep eating.
Now the warning listed above.
Apparently I just got an email from gofundme saying I will be excluded from searches until I fill out the following:
1. Who you are: Brent Hannum
2. Where you're from: Greenfield, MA
3. Your relationship to the parties you're raising funds for: It's me and my sister. We live together.
4. How the funds will be spent (be specific as possible):
Catching up on rent so we don't lose our place. This is all what we owe in rent.
5. How you intend to get the funds to those in need:
It's going into my bank account. Then into a money order and given to the main office of where I live.
