Dear friends, family and caring community,
We turn to you for help in this time of need for a beautiful young couple entering their 8th month of pregnancy as they await their baby, Julian.
On Saturday, May 6, 2017, my cousin Enid Nuñez-Unsworth and her husband Justin were doing errands as they prepare for the arrival their first born child. Their joy was turned to anguish when their neighbors called letting them know their house was ablaze! A bad circuit started the accidental fire that destroyed their home and all of their belongs just weeks before the expected arrival of their son. Enid and Justin lost ALL of their material posessions, but thanks be to God, no one was physcially harmed!
A group of family and friends decided to start this GoFundMe page to request urgent assistance for baby Julian and his parents. Justin and Enid are processing this great loss and need your help to get back on their feet while they try to put the pieces of their lives back together. We thank God for keeping the young family safe, first responders for their heroic efforts, and the #RedCross for providing the necessary shelter for the next few days. All of us who love Enid and Justin appreciate any donation you can provide to help baby Julian have a home upon his arrival in the coming weeks. No amount is too small. We also ask that you please pray for the this beautiful family and their needs.
Just a week prior to the fire, family and friends gathered to give the couple a beautiful Baby Shower. Unfortunately, all has been lost, including the generous baby gifts, family's clothing, and many work tools and supplies which the couple used for their livelihood. All material goods are gone.
Please help this young, hardworking couple get back on their feet so they can have a home in which to welcome baby Julian!
