Ramsey Liver Shunt Fund

Ramsey is a male 6 month old German Shorthaired Pointer. He is a happy sweet boy who unfortunately has a liver shunt. Due to the long term management and expenses of this disease his family elected to relinquish him to a rescue. He is now with Pups and Pals rescue and getting lots of medical care. Ramsey had a bile acids test to confirm that he does have a shunt. He had an ultrasound on 6/9/15 and it appears that his shunt is extrahepatic which is good news . However more tests are needed to see if he is a surgery candidate and those all come at a price. We are starting his fundraising at $3500 but realistically if he needs surgery the total may be significantly more .
