Rae of Hope

Raelynn Nickole Hoffa is a smart beautiful and spunky 3year old. She loves her family with all her heart and makes the best of each day, despite the challenges that face her. At 8 months old our family got the devastating news that she had her 1st stroke. We were confused, upset and terrified for our baby. Through much therapy and support from her family she continued to get better each day! However, September 2014 we were faced with the challenge of another stroke that hit the opposite side of her brain. Since that time she's had 5 more, bringing her total to 7 strokes! The doctors at Children's Hospital have gotten to the point where they feel they are at the end of what they can do for her. As a mother, I refused to believe that that would be the end of hope for my child.
I've since done my own research and found the top clinic in San Francisco where we spent a month in the PICU trying to find more answers. Still have no preventative care from another one happening. We continue to look for answers and the right doctors each day!
