Send RSA Debate to Nationals!

Now, more than ever, it is imperative to have our students be apart of spaces of intellectual dialogue and interaction.  Now, more than ever, it is imperative to empower our youth. 

This has been our first year having a debate team at RSA; it is part of the newly established East Coast League under the umbrella of the English Speaking Union.  We have now been given the opportunity to be part of nationals, to participate in the experience and compete with top debate teams from across the nation. 

The event will take place at Claremont Mckenna College in April.  We are 15 individuals; the estimated cost of travel, lodging and transportation is $8,000.  I am trying to make this experience an accessible one for ALL of my students. 

This is a life-transforming opportunity I do not want to pass up, but I need your help in making it possible.  We are living through a historic movement and I want you to help me empower these kids and give them the tools they need to be able to advocate with their minds and words for what is just.
