R&R Wildlife Rehabilitation, Maine

Donation protected

R&R Wildlife Rehabilitation has been licensed in Maine since 2008.  A chance encounter with an injured skunk put me in the hands of my mentor, Caryl Widdowson, in January of 2008.  Since before I can remember I'd wanted to work with wild animals and I feel extremely fortunate to have found her.  Whether I'm helping to treat an animal or educate the public about wildlife issues it's a privilege to be a part of their world and a blessing to have them in mine.

While licensed by the State of Maine, Wildlife Rehabilitators are NOT paid. We shoulder the costs of everything from food and caging to vet bills. These costs limit the number of animals we can care for as well as the type of care we can offer.  A 501c3 non-profit organization, R&R relies heavily upon your financial support.

Funds raised here will go towards purchasing:
formula and food for a variety of species (specially formulated for wildlife)
feeding supplies (syringes, nipples, feeding tubes, food dishes, water bottles)
vet bills (treatments, xray, anesthesia, medications, euthanasia)
first aid and emergency care supplies
heating units for cages
bedding and housing (shavings, blankets, nest boxes)
cleaning and disinfecting supplies
supplies for new cages (wood, wire, hardware)

Please consider making a donation to support the ongoing care and support of our wildlife!
