Kyle J. W. Hendricks V Scholarship

In the spirit of spreading kindness and positive vibes, the Hendricks family would like to start a scholarship foundation at Agawam High School in honor of our Kyle. Kyle graduated from AHS in 2010 and went on to Porter & Chester Institue in Springfield, MA. Our goal is to support a student at AHS with a passion for a trade or the arts. We want our attention to be focused on the student not enrolled in every club or after school activity. Our focus is on the student who knows the typical four year education is not for them, like Kyle. The tremondous support, words of encouragement and kindness we have recieved as a family from the passing of Kyle has been overwhelming. In the spirit of spreading his light, we would like to shine the light on a student who may have never thought college was an option, let alone trade school. Kyle exceeded in his profession because of the support he recieved from family and the acceptance that traditional college programs are not for every post high school graduate. Our monetary goal is $5,000 because every student deserves a chance and we all know life is expensive. If we learned anything from this tragic situation of losing Kyle, it is that generousity and kindness mean more than "objects & things". Kyle , along with the rest of the Hendricks Family, would be honored spread the light during tragedy.
