I want to thank everyone for taking the time to visit this page and read about my cousin Quami's story. Our prayers are that you find it in your heart to make  a contribution to help save a person who brings so much joy and laughter to the lives of many. 

Quami has been diagnosed with a rare form of cancer called peritoneal mesothelioma. For those of you who don't know what this is, peritoneal mesothelioma effects the lining of the abdomen and is very hard to treat without the expertise of a very limited number of providers throughout the country. The disease is so rare it typically only affects about 400-500 people per year.
Due to the rareness of this disease, Quami's treatment options in his area is very limited, so he is forced to travel outside of his living area to see a specialist. There are a couple programs that offer travel assistance for this diagnosis but the overwhelming costs in medical expenses is far more then his family can cover.


Quami is a loving, outgoing, free spirited person that will keep you entertained for days. He's a wonderful uncle, brother, son and a friend to many. He is a passionate person who is always there to lift your spirits whenever your down. Quami’s dream of becoming a well known comedian landed him in Los Angeles where he’s been for the last four years. Quami used his charm, his wit and talent to complete at least 1000 shows under the name Quincy Jones in one year. His name was becoming well known in the area, but all of that came to a halt due to his recent diagnosis.

Quami remains positive and continues to touch the lives of everyone he meets while going through this difficult time. We are asking for your assistance to help Quami get the treatment he needs. Anything will be appreciated. I will continue to keep you updated throughout this process.
