As some of you may know, on June 27th I was scheduled for what was supposed to be a routine nasal polyp removal surgery. Post-surgery I was informed that instead of removing the "polyps", they sent samples out for biopsy.
On June 28th I was diagnosed with Nasopharyngeal Cancer (Carcinoma) and discovered the polyps were actually cancerous tumors. In the days to come, I will be taking a few scans in Cali and returning to my parent's house in Florida to recieve radiation and chemotherapy.
Thankfully, I have insurance but my family has gone through this before when my mom had cancer and we will pay whatever cost to cure it. Aside from the medical bills, the radiation treatment will have me bedridden and weak for some time and finances (like keeping my room in Cali) will become an issue. I didn't know what to make the goal so it might be outlandish or even way under, but I figured anything would help. I know it's going to be a very difficult time and I appreciate all the support (whether it be monetary or emotional) that my friends and family are providing me. Thank you all!
