Indianapolis 9/11 Memorial Fund
Tax deductible
On September 11, 2011, one man's dream - together with unprecedented civic support - a permanent 9/11 Memorial was constructed in Downtown Indianapolis to serve as a timeless tribute to honor the memory of the people whose lives were lost on that fateful day, and to honor the sacrifice of our brave men and women, who have died defending our country in the War on Terror.
Located at 421 West Ohio Street, the construction of the Indianapolis 9/11 Memorial was funded entirely by donations from the public.
More than 22,000 pounds of steel serve as the foundation and centerpiece of the Memorial. Perched atop these columns is a life-sized sculpture of an American Eagle with outstretched wings and its gaze focused toward New York City.
To continue with the legacy of this historical civic monument, you are invited to graciously consider making a donation to expand the Memorial and receive as part of its permanent display, The Pentagon Stone.
Originally quarried from the world renowned limestone deposits near Bedford, Indiana, the Pentagon Stone is a damaged piece of limestone from the Pentagon in Washington, D.C. Adding this stone will add greatly to the significance of our Memorial and allows this piece of Indiana return home.
With your thoughtful donation, the campaign donations will allow for the design and construction that is needed for adding the Pentagon Stone.
It is with our heartfelt appreciation we ask for - and thank you - for your thoughtful consideration to make a donation and, in doing so, build on the legacy of the Indianapolis 9/11 Memorial.SaveSave
