Severe Nerve Damage Sucks!

I am in dire need of a motorized wheelchair. Hopefully after learning a bit about me, you can find it in your heart to help me ride again. Thank you for stopping by. It saddens me that I am no longer able to do most of what I used to, but I refuse to give up. My name is Kashinda but you can call me Kay. I am 41-years old and I want to LIVE. This may seem like no big deal, but please understand that I never wanted to "LIVE" before. I've battled depression most of my life and so "wanting" to live is new for me. I am thankful to have made it this far. I am a mother, author and people consider me to be a strong woman. I have survived 4 brain surgeries, boy it has been a lot to digest. I am a hard worker who unfortunately due to nerve damage, Peripheral Neuropathy, had to exit the workforce prematurely. Still, I am trying to do whatever I can within my abilities to purchase a motorized wheelchair. I have a manual chair, thanks to some very generous family and friends; however my fingers aren't stable enough to operate it myself. I have no sensation in my lower extremities and my fingers barely have feeling.
I am so appreciative to all who have helped me. I would like to travel out on my own, visit family & friends, worship with my community and volunteer too.
I have written a book to deliver a message of hope, a fiction story that brings awareness to an unfortunate reality in which we live. It hasn't produced enough money sufficient for buying my chair.
I used to be so independent but not happy; now I'm happy and lost most my independence. Life, rite? I am grateful for the sunshine of support and want to contribute to a better society through my creativity but I need to get out the house and maybe mingle a bit. It's not safe for me to be without a powerchair.
