Help Get PoS and Laura to Calgary!

I would walk 500 miles... I know it's a cliche.

In July 2016, Power of Scotland - Team Scotland Men's Roller Derby will be travelling to Calgary in Alberta, Canada to compete against 20 other national teams in the Men's Roller Derby World Cup. Roller derby is an amateur sport and getting a national team and staff to a world cup in another continent is expensive, with funding coming from sponsorship, fundraising and the players' own pockets! I am extremely proud to have been asked to be their official team photographer and as team photographer I hope to be able to bring players and fans, both attending and back home, many happy memories of the event. As a volunteer, I am self-funding for this event. Therefore I am raising funds to be split between the team's and my own expenses by challenging myself to walk 500 miles, starting April 1st and ending 31st May. I'll be using my Fitbit to measure and will provide weekly updates.

For those into numbers, 500 miles is a total of about 1.2 million steps with my stride - or about 8.2 miles/19670 steps per day over the 61 days of the challenge.

Every pound counts, and I'm very grateful for every one, so please consider donating.
