Help My Disabled Mother

My name is Coty and I'm writing this on behalf of my mother. Her name is Lana and she's is 62 years old. She has severe health problems, some of which are keeping her from being able to walk on her own. She has multiple doctors that she has to see and because of her current car situation, she has missed several appointments. 

My mom is the most amazing woman I have ever met. I know everyone says that about their mother but I truly feel that way. I hate seeing her going through so many health problems and not being able to get her to the doctor's she needs to see. Her current car is going to break down completely any day now. If the car is driven more than a few miles, it shuts down. When this happens, the car will not start for anywhere between 45 minutes to an hour and a half. The air conditioner does not work so when this happens my mom has to sit in a black car baking in the sun for that entire time which is not good for her health. I feel terrible that she has to go through this anytime she has a doctor's appointment. The car has so many other problems with it as well. This vehicle is the only way for her to get to doctor's appointments or anywhere she needs to go. She did not want me to post this because she doesn't like to ask for help but as her son and caretaker, I've got to try everything I can. There's a lot of good in this world and I know people will help if they can. I've been trying to save up money to buy a car myself so ill have a way to drive her to where she needs to go but that's been hard with all the other bills we have to pay. With both of our incomes, we are barely able to make ends meet. I've seen this site help so many people and she needs this so badly. I hate having to turn to others and ask for help but I have to put those feelings aside because I can't bear to see her have to wait on the side of the road in Florida's heat in an un-airconditioned car again all because she's trying to get to her doctor.
