Please Help My Daughter, April!

Donation protected

I would like to raise money for my daughter to try to help pay for some of her medical needs.

My daughter April is 36 years old. About 5 years ago, she was diagnosed with Intercranial hypertension   (Intracranial hypertension (IH) is the general term for the neurological disorders in which cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) pressure within the skull is too high.) (http://ihrfoundation.org/).

My daughter has had 13, heading into her 14th, brain surgery - this is her last.  She is sick again, with another infection, & they are removing her shunt. (They are removing her last shunt tomorrow - 2/6/16).
They will not be replacing it, as her ventricles have shrunk so much, they can no longer add a new shunt. She now will have to  suffer even more, as the shunt is supposed to help remove the fluid, thus relieving some of the pressure  in her skull. Her shunts have provided minimal relief as it was (they worked 2-3 months for her, if that, before her body would begin rejecting it & her pressure would begin rising again, and she would develop another infection).

She has worked her whole life - since 15 years old, right up through most of the time since learning of her illness. (She had to finally stop working about a year & a half ago - forced to leave her job). She has a young daughter (just about to turn 10 - in 14 days), as well, that is also sick with a variety of issues (has been hospitalized many times this past year), that she has been struggling to remain a good mommy, but it has  getting harder & harder.

My daughter has lost her home and her cars. She needs full-time around the clock care, that they can't afford. She is at high risk for stroke, and has already had several smaller strokes.

I would appreciate any help that you could  give. I would really like my daughter to be able to get a little help for some in-home care, or maybe her medications or whatever. She has also been active, trying to help raise awareness for this illness.  In essence, at this point, she is just "waiting to die" unless by some miracle they find some other way to help her.  (She can't have another shunt).

I would like to be able to give them some help with expenses and alleviate some of that worry/pressure from her, so that she may try to enjoy some time with her daughter.

We thank everyone from the bottom of our hearts. Anything would help & would be greatly appreciated.
