Parker's top surgery
After coming to the realization at 10 years old that my body didn't feel right and it wasn't because of puberty, I started trying to find things that made the discomfort feel better, but nothing came up. I started trying to look into what the problem was, and I came across the definition of Transgender. Even though I was born in a girls body, I knew that things weren't right. After years of struggle with coming out to friends and family, along with having to change schools because of bullying in my early highschool years, I've come to love who I am and continue on with my transition. I've been on Testosterone treatment for almost a year and a half now, and the final step for now will be my top surgery. Surgery not only would make my life easier to live, now that 3+ years of binding has now giveen me chest pain and trouble breathing, but it will also make me far more comfortable in my own skin.
I am able to have coverage for the surgery, however the cosmetic part of it, which is contouring to help prevent scarring is something I have to cover on my own. My family and myself aren't financially able to fork the bill in it's entirety, so as a stranger or a friend, it would mean the world to me to donate anything. Every dollar counts!
