Palmyra TEAMS Trip to Nationals '16
Spende geschützt
How did we get here?
Palmyra Area High School competed in the TSA, TEAMS competition focusing on STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math) skills for the second time this iin February at Warwick High School. Our 9th and 10th grade team won the regional competition. This allowed their scores to continue to the state level.
At this point they were awarded
- 1st place in the state in their division
- 1st place in the state overall out of over 100 teams
- are currently placed 5th nationally in their division
Because of their great academic effort they are now able to complete in the national competition in Nashville, TN.
They are eligible to compete in
- Written Competition
- Prepared Presentation
- Problem Solving Competition
*Also, because they qualified for all three competitions they are also eligible for a "Best in the Nation" award using all of their scores.
We need help to pay for the conference fees, airfare, hotel, food, and transportation.
Please consider supporting these dedicated, hardworking, and truly academic young men.
