Allyx is an amazing human being he really is his caring, always helping others, putting everyone before him self, his only 27 & has been thru alot in 2011 his big sister was kidnapped & unfortunately killed he was devastated as they were really close & she was his only sibling they were three years apart but shared the same birthday, after loosing his sister he was angry sad & mad at the world then to come find out 6 months later he was diagnosed with cancer. He had waited a while to get checked he just thought he hurt himself at work but when he went to the Dr. it was cancer he was only 20 so had no idea what that really was when he found out it had spread already & was metastasized he tried to get treatment here in US but because of no insurance & not being a US citzen there was nothing they could do for him.
He had to go to mexico he got treated there and thankfully went on remission. There was a small tumor left stuck to the aorta because of the place were it was at if they tried to remove it he could bleed out when they did the surgery it was not successful.
He kept attending his appointments then 2016 comes around he starts having the same pain as in 2011 he told the oncologist they did blood work & CT scan everything looked noraml so it kept happening we go to the hospitals here in the US & a year later in 2017 after spending months on on going visits to the ER 5 CT scans later 2 x-Rays later & an MRI later we come to find out cancer was back 2 weeks after our baby girl was born( they had told him he would not be able to have kids because of chemo) our baby girl was a miracle he always wanted a baby & for the baby to be a girl & he got it so miracles do exsit .
They treated him so bad at the hospital we were trying to get him help here in the US but the oncologist refused to see him because of no insurance they also told him that if he wanted to get treated here he would be in debt for the rest of his life, they said if you don’t go to mexico now you not make it.
So we did we packed our stuff & left he got treated and thankfully chemotherapy worked once again, the oncologist sent him with a surgeon in mexico to see if they could remove the tumor that was left once again he was scared as the first time it was not successful. We went to talk to someone & they said the chances were 50/50 my husband did not feel confident with the dr to try it again so we came back to the US to ask for a second opinion but then 2 months pass by & the pain comes back.
We looked for an oncologist everywhere it was so hard to find one that would take an uninsured patient, so i find one we go & up to this day he has been amazing to Allyx he in fact tells us that cancer is back he told us that treatment would be extremely expensive & that they would call us with the cost & well thankfully it was not something extreme and they would be able to take him so up to this day he is receiving chemotherapy here in the US but he has no insurance so all cost chemotherapy, blood work, medications, CT scans, Biopsy, pathology, hospital stays, & anything else you can imagine is payed out of pocket as it was in mexico his never had insurance, & the plan is if chemotherapy works which it will for him to get a bone marrow transplant the cost for that is $100,000 there is no price worth my husbands life its been extremely hard coming up with the money to pay for all this. so if you all can please take the time to share this it will be extremely appreciated.
