We are saddened and shocked at the tragedy that took place Saturday night at Pulse Nightclub.  The Center is partnering with MBA, Hope and Help, Two Spirit Health, Zebra Coalition, Rollins, and various other GLBT organizations throughout Central Florida to provide an emergency hotline and crisis counseling.

Crisis Counseling will take place at The First Unitarian Church of Orlando located at 1901 E. Robinson Street between 10-7.

Thank you to everyone that has participated and contributed to this fund. The Board of Directors for The Center continues to work on details for the fund distribution to victims, and we remain committed that 100% of all funds will go to victims and their families.

As soon as we have the final details of the distribution mechanism, we will post those here so that you can see how these funds will be disbursed and upon the conclusion of the distribution, we will have independent auditors report on the activities as well.

We continue to be humbled by the out pouring of support from within our community and from all around the world. To date we have collected $423,909 in victim relief donations and have received numerous pledges for assistance which are still in process. The Board of Directors for The Center has pledged and will ensure that 100% of funds collected by The Center for victim relief will be used for the purpose. To that end, we are in discussions with The City of Orlando and Equality Florida regarding options to partner together in order to maximize the assistance to victims but also to be efficient as possible in the administration of these funds. The Board of Directors for The Center take their responsibility over these funds very seriously, and therefore is proceeding diligently to ensure that any such partnership will result in the administration of the victim fund as pledged. The Board knows there is an immediate need for assistance and will work as quickly as it can to begin disbursing these donations to affected parties.

Hello. My name is Brittany and I run Guzie's Airbrush Tattoos booth as a vendor at various events in Colorado. My staff and I have been long-time supporters of the LGBTQ community and our favorite event to work is always Denver Pridefest. We are all so sickened by the violence that befell the victims of the Pulse Nightclub massacre and the Orlando community. We know that there are still ongoing medical costs, jobs were lost, and times are going to continue to be very hard. So we decided to donate 10% of our profits from this year's Denver Pridefest booth to your GoFundMe. We only wish we were able to give more. You are all in our hearts and our prayers. We love you all more than you could ever know.
