A dance partnership is like any other relationship. Sometimes a new partnership just works, other times partners have to really work at it, and still others the partners are so different that it becomes clear that a partnership won't work no matter what anyone does.

But even when a partnership fails, its' not a total failure of one learns from it and applies that knowledge in the future. And while my partnership with Laura didn't work out, we both learned a lot, and continue to be friends.

My path remains the same, and though I don't expect to find a new partner in time to compete this season, I use this time to work with my coach Lief Gislason to improve my basic skating and as well as improve my form, power, and flow, among other things.

As for my channel, you can expect to see more education skating videos coming starting later this week. Stay tuned!

Things may have looked grim for a while, but with a lot of hard work and your support, things are finally turning around. I have a new dance partner Laura Whipple, and we have a new coach, Leif Gislason.

However, none of this would matter if we weren't working to reach a higher level than either of us have achieved in the past. To that end, Laura and I are working on honing our skating skills, the bedrock of skating. We are very fortuante to have Leif, both for his passion and dedication to us, and for his immense knowledge which he gained by being trained by many of the greatest coaches of this generation.

Our goal to skate for USA nationally and internationally. Furthermore, we understand the importance of sharing skating knowledge for the betterement of skaters everywhere. We will continue making skating videos, and sharing with you what we learn. Thank you everyone, and stay tuned!!

So one door closes, and another will open. I regret to announce that Kseniya has decided to dissolve our partnership. It has been a privilege and an honor to have skated with her these past five seasons. I wish her the best in her skating.

As for me, I am as dedicated as ever to skating competitively, and am now looking for a new partner. Our YouTube channel will live on as a testament to all we accomplished. I will create a new channel, where I will continue our vision of creating a vast library of skating knowledge through how-to skating videos. Right now, everything is up in the air, and I don't know where I will end up. But know that I will go to any length and do anything to remain a competitive ice dancer. If you would like to support my skating, I would very much appreciate it!! Thank you all!!
