Obi Madubogwu medical fund campaign
Donation protected
Thank you for checking out this campaign. I am Adaobi a first cousin to Obi's wife (Uju), and I had the opportunity to visit with my cousin and Obi on the 17th of this month (December).
I was happy to find Obi alert and responsive eventhough I was acutely aware of the challenges that lay ahead....you see Obi has type 2 diabetes which led to further complications when he developed a wound on his left foot. Obi fell into a diabetic coma and only came out after some days, thankfully his foot was not amputated however it will require intensive medical intervention to recover fully and so will Obi.
Medically, the burden as I witnessed is already a lot on the family and may continue if we don't set out to help them financially. You see for Obi's care, his wife Uju buys everything he needs herself, the purchase includes vials of medication, syringes, needles, IV drips, cannulae etc. She does this regularly at a pricy cost, Obi's admission is charged on a daily rate plus other basic essentials to remain in hospital which sadly will be their home for the next 4 months according to the doctors.
On the social level, Obi and his wife have 3 beautiful children who need to be taken care of also. They go back to school soon and have had to deal with not having an idle Christmas this holiday BUT thankfully they understand.
I would deeply appreciate as much financial support as we can raise because I know that with all the medical issues Obi is going through, they will need all the financial help they can get. Thank you for reading and please let's get giving, God bless.
