"ODs On" Scope Expansion Super PAC

The "ODs On" Optometry Scope Expansion Super PAC is a novel concept designed to assist state associations in political efforts to expand TPA privileges.  Efforts for scope expansion by state associations are highly dependent on political fundraising.  The more successful the fundraising effort, the greater the likelihood an Optometry bill will be passed.  This PAC harnesses the collective power of our industry's largest and most influential community, "ODs on facebook" to raise supplemental money for state associations seeking to expand their therapeutic privileges through the legislative process.

Funds from the Super PAC will be distributed to states who have an active legislative effort.  They will be awarded "dollar for dollar" based on states ability to raise funds from it's members.  Funds will be distributed one state at a time, chosen based on scope of existing law, need and timing.   If your state comes out strong for this PAC, this PAC will come out strong for your state.  With ongoing funds this new model for scope efforts will be repeated each time a state is in need.
