We are starting this fund for our close friend/sister Ieshia Ali, and her two sons Yasin 12 and Ishmael 9.
April 1, 2017 a fire occurred in their home. Ieshia was briefly hospitalized for smoke inhalation and the boys, thankfully, were unharmed. The family has been displaced and are temporarily placed in a hotel. They lost everything as the fire began in the kitchen beneath the bedrooms. The dwelling has been Red tagged for demolition and 95% of its contents have been destroyed by water and smoke damage.
Ieshia, is the Co-Director of SouthBay Yoga Conference and prior to that Founder of Shakti Mindbody Studios. Her light shines bright from east coast to west and we are proud to call her friend and sister! We were devastated to hear that life dealt her and the boys another harsh blow as she has been fighting many challenging life battles in most recent years, enduring health and family issues.
We want to try to normalize their lives as much and
as Quickly as possible.
