Neil Bartlett's 44km run for Byford Junior Cricket

For months Neil has been training day and night , weekend after weekend, running as far as he can. Why you ask?
In life we are given chances and opportunities. We can either sit and accept or we can use what we have and make something BIGGER, BETTER and GREATER FOR ALL.
Neil wants ALL children, Girls and Boys at our beloved Serpentine Jarrahdale Cricket Club (SJCC) to be the best they can be.
He will be running and raising money for all those children in our local area who think they can't play cricket, who think they aren't good enough to play and those girls who think that they don't belong, they just don't know or how to yet. He hopes to raise enough funds to properly equip more girls to play cricket, better equiped helmets for all our junior members and an upgrade to outdated protective playing and training gear, giving us the tools to lead our children into a bright sporting future.
This September he will be running from the Centre Pitch of the WACA to Briggs Road Oval in Byford, Our local Cricket Club, raising money to assist with the growth and development of Junior Cricket.
Together as a community Neil believes that we can show all children, Girls and Boys that when we stand together nothing is out of reach, not even the stars.
