Natalie's Cakes and More Updates
First, I would thank everyone for their warm wishes, empathy, and support during this crazy difficult time.
I would love to write more, and will try soon, but my business is so behind right now.
My shop, which had it's grand opening this summer was vandalized in the riots.
My main windows were smashed and bakery damaged. I'm beside myself, but with the holidays, can't stop working.
I'm very busy cleaning and trying to repair my business. I'm also trying to catchup on baking cakes for Thanksgiving!
I promise to update this later. I'm truly mixing batter right now. I began baking and selling cakes at local flea markets, slowly saving money to start my small business.
I LOVE TO BAKE !!!
It was my dream and I'm working hard to accomplish that dream.
The outpouring of support on Twitter, Facebook, and in the media has been amazing. I was in tears.
It was suggested that I start a Gofundme account by a new friend. She created it and here it is. I do need help to rebuild and create a website, so any donations would be a huge assistance.
I'm not sure where to find the money to repair my little bakery. But, even if you just stopped by to say hello. Thank You !!!!
I've never felt such love.
Thank You !!!

(campaign created by Kristine Froeba, updates dictated by Natalie)
He and his family lost everything in the fllod, including his chapel and some of his uniforms.
He is also a chaplain who performs police and veteran's military funerals for all armed service branches gratis across three states.
Please consider a small donation to help him - to help veterans and their families.
Local St. Louis business, Renaissance Financial, founder Greg Keller, invited me to speak at their yearly conference as an entrepreneur and they FLEW Kristine Froeba in to surprise me and meet on STAGE during my interview - Oprah Style!
I almost hugged her to death ;-)
We'll both be at my shop baking tomorrow! ;-)))))
Wishing David Swingle was here too!
David and Kristine both started separate funds for me without me knowing - then they merged the fund and all of you helped put me back in business and acheive my dreams!
(this is an update - no more donations!)
People, just because we donated money does not give us the right to demand that we be told what she did with the money. My lousy little donation was given in faith - or I would not have given it at all. If you are concerned with what she will do with the money, please keep your money. I know Natalie is a very classy awesome woman who has used this money wisely and I appreciate her updates but I am amazed at how many people are demanding to be told what she does with the money. It is not our business unless she chooses to share. You were not forced to give. It should be given from the heart, not with strings attached. Bless Natalie and all of her supporters.
So happy that you received enough donations to get your business back up and running and to help some others. I wish you well. I live too far away to come and try out your baking, but maybe I can next time I am in the area. I used to live in Bel Nor, a long time ago, and Ferguson was not far away.
YOU GO GIRLFRIEND! Nothing was more heartbreaking than to see what happened, through no fault of yours. You were given wings and you flew! Doing what we could to help...with others helping as they could...it's "community" that is there...not "government"...as it should be! SOAR!
