I cannot find the words to begin to tell my (sister-in-law) Nancy’s story so I decided to take an excerpt from my brothers Facebook post* yesterday and let him tell you with words from his heart;
There comes a time in life where your faith is tested to the very foundations of your soul.
Yesterday my family's faith was tested for the third time in our lives.
The First time was almost 5 years ago when our perfectly healthy son Adam passed away on Veteran's Day (11-11-2013) in his sleep.
He died of Streptococcus Pneumonia complicated by ARDS.
The Second time was when my beautiful Godly wife Nancy was diagnosed with breast cancer a year after Adam passed away.
It killed me to see her go through the chemotherapy treatments.
After going through all of the of the chemo treatments she was deemed to be cancer free. Our family had a huge celebration at the Hospital that day.
The Third time was the awful news that we got yesterday. Nancy was having trouble breathing so I took her to the clinic. They took a chest x-ray and noticed that there were multiple nodules in her lungs.
Due to that, Nancy's Doctor ordered a PET Scan which she had this past Tuesday.
We went to see her PCP yesterday and it was not good news. The doctor told us that the PET Scan had shown that there were "hot spots" in her lungs, pelvic area and neck.
This sucked the rest of the oxygen out of our lungs and sail.
We are set to see an Oncologist this coming Thursday (08/30). We won't know any specifics or which course of action he will take until she has a biopsy.
In spite of all of the above, we are still holding strong to our faith in Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior. We have been praying for the miraculous healing of Nancy.
Some people would look at us and say that we are crazy for still trusting in Jesus.
To that we say show us a better alternative.
Our time on Earth is temporary.
Our time in Eternity is forever.
My prayer is that each and every one of you who hasn't already accepted Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior does so today.
Please pray for Nancy’s healing.
We thank you all.
May God Bless you all.

#WITHGRATITUDE
After giving a lot of thought about a goal (and not being sure of the treatment plan)
I remembered that I needed to take many factors into consideration such as ;
Insurance costs (they’re not a part of a group) high deductibles, co-pays, prescriptions, AND past bills from Nancy’s previous treatments.
My final thought and deciding factor...
WE CAN DO THIS. Every $5 helps.
PLEASE REMEMBER; Sharing this on your page is as helpful as donating.

Please help make Nancy’s healing possible.
She (once again) is ready to fight.

My head was telling me “Chuck isn’t going to like this... maybe you shouldn’t do it!”
My heart was telling me that he needed to focus on his wife and not financial issues.
Chuck, Nancy, Alyssa, Eric & Rayna, you are NOT in this alone .... we all want to help.
WE LOVE YOU
