Nacogdoches Soccer Fields Lights

Nacogdoches, the hometown to US Men’s National Team & Seattle Sounders star player Clint Dempsey, needs your help to raise $50,000 before the end of the summer! Nacogdoches Youth Soccer Association, NYSA, recently received a matching funds grant from US soccer to install lights to the Clint Dempsey Soccer Complex to allow for night time practices & games. We currently have only 1 lighted field & with the help of the grant we are looking to expand to 3 lighted fields. As you can imagine it is almost impossible to arrange for each team to play make-up games or to practice under the lights of just 1 field. Our soccer field is located in a flood zone so make-up games are needed after almost anytime it even slightly rains and once day light savin
gs time hits in the fall the fields are dark by 6pm. The city of Nacogdoches has agreed to help with the construction lights and US Soccer will provide $50,000 towards the project but NYSA has to raise $50,000 in matching funds first. Please help us light our soccer fields so that we can have the opportunity to produce more talented soccer players like Clint Dempsey. The goal of Nacogdoches Youth Soccer is to promote and organize the game of soccer for youth and adults of the Nacogdoches area in order to provide players with the opportunity to make new friends, improve their skills along with some recreation and healthy exercise.
