Trip to Akron Ohio International Soap Box Race July 10-17, 2016....
Youth residing in disadvantaged areas from all over the city already raced in this years NYC Soap Box Derby Race in Central Park on Fathers Day. Parks Community Centers, schools and non-profits worked with children to build and race their cars while learning STEM (science, technology, engineering and math) instruction. The program includes children with disabilities. Vietnam Vets on Staten Island even built a specialized dual driven car. The winners have the opportunity to go to Akron Ohio for 1 week to race champions from all over the world in July. We are raising funds to pay for the trip! We hope to send winners and chaperones with your help! Your donations are tax deductible contributions under 501c3 Eibs Pond Education Restoration Program Inc.
