Freedom Farm Desperately Needs You
(UPDATE: Thanks to all of you, We found our forever property February 2018! All money raised after this date goes directly to caring for all the animals that call Freedom Farm Animal Rescue home.) My name is Tara Seay and I am a co-Founder of Freedom Farm Animal Rescue. I started up the rescue in 2014 and made it official shortly after by filing for a 501c3 nonprofit status. Our sole mission is to help various species of animals in need - predominantly focusing on farm animals. These animals are rescued from abuse, neglect, starvation, slaughter ... you name it.
I am not usually an open open book but I absolutely feel the need to be today. There are two things that I am sure of. 1. I have and will continue to dedicate my entire life to animals in need of saving. 2. I need your help. WE need your help.
Originally, Freedom Farm Animal Rescue was based on a large farm in southern New Jersey. We were leasing the property as we searched for the perfect farm to purchase. In January of this year, unforeseen circumstances forced us to pickup everything and move to yet another temporary property while we continued to search for a property of our own. We went through all of the motions and asked all of the proper questions before putting up fencing and shelters on this temporary property. After moving our entire setup and all of the rescued animals, we were contacted by the township. To make a very long story short, we will have to file endless amounts of paperwork and spend A LOT of money in order for us to remain where we are. Since this property is supposed to be temporary, we really do not want to waste our time and money on this - just to pickup and move again in 8 months.
Please understand, I never ask for help so this is difficult for me. I am swallowing my pride for the animals and our mission in general. The best thing for all of the animals would be to finally find Freedom Farm's forever home and allow everyone to settle completely. This is where you all come in. We only have approximately 2 months to raise this money.
If you can spare $1, $5, $25 - it would help immensely. The last thing we want to do is continue to uproot all of our rescued animals. If you are unable to donate, please share this campaign with your friends and family.
Remember, all donations are tax deductible. Freedom Farm Animal Rescue is a registered 501c3 nonprofit.
gofundme.com/4ouiavk I am a patient of Lupus and Hashimoto's thyroiditis. Which have created me morbid obesity and that for more diets that I have treated I do not underweight which I want to undergo a stomach reduction operation which I get about $ 6,000 and I do not have that amount and my medical plan does not covers why they say it is aesthetic that back pains are getting stronger and people make fun of my overweight. Help please everything is for my health and nobody understands my condition and they make fun of my fatness.
My baby girl Morgan has been diagnosed at the tender age of 2 months with the rare end stage liver disease known as Biliary Atresia. We were told that without surgical intervention, very few babies with this disease live past their second birthday. She immediately underwent surgery to try and save her liver. Unfortunately, the surgery was unsuccessful and Morgan suffered liver failure a few days ago, causing fluid to build up in her abdomen which put pressure on her stomach and lungs. She is now in critical condition at the pediatric intensive care unit of Children's Hospital in Los Angeles, where she has been sedated and intubated since she is unable to eat or breathe on her own. At this point her only chance of survival is to receive a liver tranplant. She has been placed on the donor list but there is no guarantee a donor will be found in time. We are now reaching out to friends, family, and even complete strangers in the hopes of finding someone with a compatible liver willing to donate a small part of it to save our little girl's life. Along with the stress and heartache of trying to save our baby girl, this situation has also placed a heavy financial burden on top of us. Even with a successful transplant, Morgan will be on medication and require constant medical attention for the rest of her life. With the loss of half our income to allow our baby to have her mother by her side, our financial situation will not be sufficient to cover all the medical expenses needed for Morgan’s recovery and medical care. We have set up this fund in the hopes of not only helping our family cover medical costs, but also to cover any costs that might be incurred by her living donor. Additionally we are hoping to do what we can to raise awareness of this rare condition to prevent other families from having to go through this same situation and help families already fighting this disease. https://www.gofundme.com/BabyMorganFund
