Music for Memories is a non-profit, 501(c)3 organization whose mission is to improve the quality of life for senior citizens through vocal music programs.
Funding is needed to purchase music and supplies for both the a’CHOIR’d Harmony community choir and the facility-based senior choirs. Your contribution will also help us to expand the number of facility-based senior choirs by providing the financial support to provide a small stiped for additional directors and accompanists. Our goal is to start two more facility-based senior choirs by 6/2017.

The a'CHOIR'd Harmony community choir consists of teen-agers to individuals over 80 years of age. Everyone who loves to sing is welcome!
The choir travels twice a month to provide free performances in senior living centers, acute-care nursing homes and memory care facilities. It has entertained thousands of seniors in the Twin Cities Metro and Western Wisconsin communities over its ten-year history.
The Music for Memories organization also supports facility-based 'senior-choirs' consisting of residents in independant and assisted-living and memory care facilities. The senior choirs practice weekly to foster a sense of belonging, accomplishment and enjoyment. To quote one member, "I wait all week for choir practice and I hate to leave when it's over. "
