Less then a month ago we were in Mexico getting caught in torrential rains while at Chichen-Itzá, scaling the walls of Tulum, and riding bikes through the Mayan Jungle... Today we are back home fighting Cancer.
My sister, an amazing high school teacher who is loved by her students, has been diagnosed with triple negative invasive ductal carcinoma, breast cancer. My ñaña (insert your nickname for her here) is strong. I (like you the reader) have no doubt that she will get through this!!! However, the challenges that lay ahead will not be easy... We are fortunate to be a very “enmeshed family” and therefore will be there to support her, Frankie, and the kids... BUT she will be out of work for the forseeable future which will means financial strain on her family. Thus I come to all who know and love her to humbly ask for assistance through these hard times. Let’s show love for this military family that continuously sacrifices time away from each other!
Hace menos de un mes estábamos en México siendo atrapados por lluvias torrenciales mientras estuvimos en Chichen-Itzá, escalando las paredes de Tulum y montando en bicicleta en la jungla maya ... Y hoy estamos en casa luchando contra Cáncer.
Mi hermana ha sido diagnosticada con carcinoma ductal invasivo triple negativo, cáncer de mama. Mi ñaña es fuerte (inserta tu apodo para ella aquí). ¡Yo (como tú, el lector) no tengo ninguna duda de que ella superará esto! Sin embargo no va ser fácil... Gracias a dios somos afortunados de ser una familia muy "metiches", por lo tanto estaremos siempre juntos para apoyarla a ella, a Frankie y los niños en todo lo q podemos... PERO la realidad es q ella estará sin trabajo por un bueno tiempo cual resultará en sus financias q sufran. Financieramente va hacer muy difícil para su familia. Por lo tanto, vengo a todos los que la conocen y la aman para pedir humildemente ayuda en estos tiempos difíciles.
