Mr Noel's journey to recovery
I am a neglect rescue case, from Ashland Oregon. I have a severe skin disease and I am emaciated. I suffer from ear infections and a leg fracture I got as a puppy. When I am done with my treatments I can be adopted out to a forever home. Finding out what is wrong with me and the treatments will be the expensive part. Please help me.

Hi my name is Mr Noel. Dr's think I am 6 years old. I am a Beagle/American Staffordshire Terrier/Chow Chow/Golden Retriever mix (DNA Tested). Full DNA report will be given to my adopted family as well as my complete health records. Here is my story from my POV.

I was dumped on Dead Indian Memorial and neighbors there told Jackson County Animal Control about me. Animal Control rescued me and brought me in as a stray on December 18th 2015. Officers could not take me to the vet to get treated for my many ailments. I would not let anyone touch me or get near me. I was too scared and in pain so I was acting aggressively. I was in danger of being euthanized on December 26th 2015 if a rescue did not come and get me. I am in need of ongoing medical attention; I am also in need of an experienced canine handler and could only be released to a rescue agency.

On December 24th 2015 Miss Gabriel Foundation (MGF) stepped in. I was reviewed by a professional dog handler who thought I should have a chance. Arrangements were made right away to pull me from the shelter and start my treatment plan.

At MGF they will foster me and give me the 24/7 medical care I will need. They have a motto and it is "Giving a second chance to dogs who never had a first chance." MGF needs your help to make this happen.

I saw a Dr on December 24th 2015. She has a medical plan she believes will help me.
I am emaciated and Dr believes I had not been fed often. My toe nails are long and they need to be cut. My skin has a severe disease where I lost a lot of my hair; I smell very badly, my body is covered in scars and scabs from head to toe. My skin oozes blood and pus. I lack in muscles. I have and ear infection and an old fractured leg when I was a puppy. My paws are also swollen. All of these are very painful and uncomfortable.

I had some x-rays done, vaccinations given, blood work ordered and tested for certain diseases.

I am also suffering from kennel cough now but we need to treat the skin disease first. The blood results came in and my liver has signs of trouble. I am to take a liver supplement and re test it again later.

On January 8th 2016, I saw Dr Matt. I came in for some vaccinations, refills on my prescriptions and to recheck my progress. I am not making much progress on my medical issues but I am acting and feeling better.

On January 15th 2016, I saw Dr Liana. Upon a rectal examination Dr says I am just getting excited about the non-spayed rescues and I will need to be neutered ASAP.

On February 4th 2016, I saw Dr Liana. I am going in to recheck my skin condition and see how my liver is doing. My blood was drawn and my liver is having no more issues. That is great news for me. I still need more time on antibiotics for my skin disease. We are not sure why the skin is not healing as quickly as it should. I got a vaccine and refilled some prescriptions.

On February 16th 2016, I saw Dr Liana. I am here for my neuter surgery. I did get neutered today and some other stuff done. I was given a microchip and my nails were clipped. There was a tumor on my elbow that was also removed. I need to buy a plastic e collar as well.

On February 26th 2016, I saw Dr Liana. I am here for a checkup. I got my vaccination. My tumor removal site on my elbow is inflamed from the stitches. They were removed as Dr says they are doing more harm than good now. I did sass a bit as it was painful and I bled. Neuter site is looking good.

On March 4th 2016, I saw Dr Liana. I am here for a checkup. Dr thinks my skin is looking good and my hair is growing back. She wants me off antibiotics and sees how I do. My surgery sites are all looking good. Still on pain medication for my leg and I still need to work on a better attitude.

On July 21st 2016, I saw Dr Liana. I have another ear infection. Dr confirmed ears need help so she places a new medication in both ears that last for 10 days. She wants to recheck me next week since I cried when she tried to look in my left ear and I was getting grumpy.

On October 6th 2016, I saw my Dr because I am not feeling well and have gained some weight. Dr took some blood to test my thyroids and the test results will be in Monday. I have a slight ear infection in my left ear so Dr put some medication in there that last a few weeks.

On November 3rd 2016, I saw my Dr because II am not feeling well and have gained some I am having bad constipation. Apparently my bedtime routine has over indulged in marrow. I am to get off the marrow and take some mineral oil to help pass the binding up I still have on the inside.

On May 17th 2016, I saw my Dr because my skin is losing more fur and I have scabs on my back and neck again. Dr testing my liver to see if it could point to cushings. My liver was fine so I am to add melatonin to my pill intake to try to help my hair follicles.

I will get better but only under medical treatments. My Dr visits may be frequent, at first, due to my severe condition. Diagnosing can also be costly. I hope you can find it in your hearts and pocket books to please donate to my rehabilitation and recovery. 100% of these donations go into my care.

I did not want to get this sick. I wanted to be loved and cared for. My previous owners let me get this way. My medical bills will be ongoing during my treatments to get better.
