I am a neglect rescue case from Modesto California. I have a severe skin disease, demodex +, overgrown nails and I am emaciated. When I am done with my treatments I can be adopted out to a forever home. Finding out what is wrong with me and the treatments will be the expensive part. Please help me.

Hi my name is Mr Ernie. Dr's think I am 5 months old. I am a Chihuahua/Shorthaired Dachshund/Miniature Poodle/Pomeranian mix (DNA Tested). Full DNA report will be given to my adopted family as well as my complete health records. Here is my story from my POV.

I was found as a stray near the area of Block Ustick Road. I was sent too Stanislaus Animal Services Agency on March 26th 2017.

I am small and I am very sick. The Dr has released my stray hold early to a rescue in hope to get me the help I desperately need before my little body cannot fight any longer. The shelter Dr tested my skin and I was positive for Demodex. He gave me Bravecto to start killing the mites.
A lady named Bobbie posted me to social media to search for a rescue. A lady named Jacqueline saw this post and tagged Miss Gabriel Foundation on March 27th 2017. MGF wanted to rescue me so Jacqueline picked me up from the shelter on March 29th 2017 and found me a ride to MGF. Many people came together to arrange transport for three dogs to be transported on March 30th 2017. Thank you to the transporters Irene, Stephanie, Carrie, Brenda, Fred and Yvonne. It takes a village.

I am in need of ongoing medical attention so on March 31st 2017 MGF will take me too my new Dr to develop a treatment plan.
At MGF they will foster me and give me the 24/7 medical care I will need. They have a motto and it is "Giving a second chance to dogs who never had a first chance." MGF needs your help to make this happen.

I saw my Dr (Dr Liana) on March 31st 2017. She has a medical plan she believes will help me.
First checkup visit set up a medical plan. Blood panel drawn to check for various issues and health overall. More blood work to test for heart-worm, Lyme and other various problems. X-rays were done on my chest and abdomen.
Blood results were my organs are good, elevated protein in my blood, low iron and calcium levels in my blood. My x ray is clear. I am also heartworm disease and lyme disease negative. My nails are overgrown and starting to twist. One dew claw was pulled out of the side of my foot. I have bacteria, fungus and yeast infections in my skin on almost half my body. My skin has lichenification and is covered in sores that bleed and ooze pus. Everywhere Dr checks I had pus oozing from skin, even injection sites from the needles oozed pus. I am missing most of my fur. I have eye infections. I have kennel cough. I am unstable since my body lack muscles and am sore from the skin disease. My feet are swollen. I have baby teeth needing to be surgical removed. Dr pulled dead ticks inside my ear. Tapeworm was seen in my feces. I was sent home with many rx’s to help me plus I was given a shot of anti-itching rx.

I saw my Dr on April 15th 2017. I needed to be examined and get more vaccinations. We think some new puppy rescues brought parvo so I am rushed in to get my second shot to help me fight again this disease just in case.

I will get better but only under medical treatments. My Dr visits may be frequent, at first, due to my severe condition. Diagnosing can also be costly. I hope you can find it in your hearts and pocket books to please donate to my rehabilitation and recovery. 100% of these donations go into my care.
Donations are welcomed and are always needed for the veterinary/daily care of sick dogs like me. By your donations, the neglected cases get to come here into MGF for a second chance.
I did not want to get this sick. I wanted to be loved and cared for. My previous owners let me get this way. My medical bills will be ongoing during my treatments to get better. The hope is to not need a medical plan after I heal and repair. I want to live and I want to find my fur-ever family. It will take a village to help me. I need your help please.
