Miss Peaches' journey to recovery

Tax deductible
I am a neglect rescue case, from Avenal California. I have a severe skin disease and in a lot of pain. I suffer from ear infections, eye infections, long twisting nails and swollen paws. I am demodex positive. When I am done with my treatments I can be adopted out to a forever home. Finding out what is wrong with me and the treatments will be the expensive part. Please help me.

Hi my name is Miss Peaches. Dr's think I am 6 months old. I am a Chihuahua/Bichon Frise/Miniature Shorthaired Dachshund/Pekingese mix (DNA Tested). Full DNA report will be given to my adopted family as well as my complete health records. Here is my story from my POV.
---------------------------------------------------------------------
I was found by a landowner checking in on his abandoned property. He found me inside the home all alone and called for someone to come get me. On September 11th 2017 the City of Avenal Animal Control came and picked me up.

I am sick, scared but very sweet. I quickly became a favorite among the shelter staff who reached out for help with my rescue. A canine transporter named Cheryl saw me and took me out to send me to her vet on September 14th 2017. I was placed on a treatment plan till a rescue can come get me.
09/14/2017 I hurt and need help.

This same day a lady named Jacqueline tagged Miss Gabriel Foundation in a post that I needed rescue. MGF inquired whether or not any local rescue was coming to my aide. There was no one coming to help me so they expressed an interest in saving me.
09/14/2017 A call for help.

A lady name Katie contacted MGF letting them know a paid transport was found for me the next day. It was the same lady named Cheryl who took me to the vet who was going to bring me to MGF. I am in need of ongoing medical attention so I was then transferred to the MGF on September 15th 2017. This is my journey to my path into getting healthy.
09/15/2017 I have arrived at MGF.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------
I saw my Dr on September 18th 2017. It was my first checkup visit to set up a plan. I am negative for heartworm and lyme disease. I am too young to do an xray yet. Due to young age of 6 months old a blood panel was not ran (yet). I have eye infections, left ear infection and severe staph infections on my skin pretty much everywhere which is also giving me a urinary tract infection. I smell yeasty as it is all over my skin. I tested positive for demodex. My nails are long and twisting when I walk but they have already been cut to the quick so we have to wait to cut back more. I was given a new treatment plan and sent home with new prescriptions. Now we wait to see how I respond to the new treatment plan.

Dr Liana wants to see me often to check on my progress for healing.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
I will get better but only under medical treatments. My Dr visits may be frequent, at first, due to my severe condition. Diagnosing can also be costly. I hope you can find it in your hearts and pocket books to please donate to my rehabilitation and recovery. 100% of these donations go into my care.

Donations are welcomed and are always needed for the veterinary/daily care of sick dogs like me. By your donations, the neglected cases get to come here into MGF for a second chance.

I did not want to get this sick. I wanted to be loved and cared for. My previous owners let me get this way. My medical bills will be ongoing during my treatments to get better. The hope is to not need a medical plan after I heal and repair. I want to live and I want to find my fur-ever family. It will take a village to help me. I need your help please.

How To Help Miss Peaches

Please consider making a small tax deductible donation for my medical care. Also help get the word out and share my plea. Without your help, MGF cannot rescue more like me. Community donations are their only source of funding.

100% of these donations will go to my medical cost. Should my medical bills get paid off, it will go towards my care and feeding that the Howell's are currently paying for out of their personal funds. They are unpaid volunteers. This foundation is their way to help dogs like Miss Gabriel Howell.

Please consider signing up for a $1 or more, monthly reoccurring donation.

Thank you!
