Miss Winona lee

Being pregnant is supposed to be a loving and a stress-free time, thinking that everything will end up just the way you have been planning on for months. With the results being safe, happy, healthy and a full-term baby but, for Vanessa and Andrew they are currently in a unthinkable situation.

Vanessa and her boyfriend Andrew went on vacation after Vanessa got the okay from her doctor to travel to Europe, so off they went. While vacationing and having fun with Andrews family and visiting his brother in college Vanessa started experiencing some bleeding, what then turned into heavy bleeding. Vanessa ended up in the hospital rushed into an emergency c section!  Baby Winona was born  at 29 weeks verses a full term pregnancy being 40 weeks.

Since she was born early the hospital has kept baby Winona and she could be in the hospital of Prague, Czech Republic  for about 8 weeks and then no telling when she'll be able to get on 2 plane rides home. Seeing that they are in another country and it was the day before their plane was to leave to return home, they're stuck there. What was suppose to be such an exciting time has turned into a stressful and emotional situation.

Andrew, Vanessa and baby Winona are in the Czech Republic, where people hardly speak ANY English at the hospital, unfortunately they have NO insurance coverage out there, NO car and NO where to live. They had bought some things to bring home for gifts for family from their trip have needed to return  for money for the living expenses . 

The birth of baby Winona Lee happened on 10.30.2018, eight days ago. On Monday the 5th Vanessa was discharged from the hospital after her surgey. With the great help from Andrews parents they rented an Airbnb for the month about 20 minutes away from the hospital. The 20 minutes might not seem that long but in a country, you have no idea even the language or laws, its forever! With the support of family they have been helping with money for food, a pump to feed their baby girl, clothes for Winona, apartment, etc.

Vanessa and Andrew are such amazing people and this story is just heartbreaking that what should be a positive and happy time has turned into some stressful days with their little ray of sunshine that is Winona. There is no doubt in my heart or mind that they will be outstanding parents and do/give Winona the VERY best, as well as so much LOVE. Winona still needed time to cook in Vanessa’s belly but now is early and isn’t even in her own country to have the support and love from family and friends. It is just the three of them, this little family against the world. Please - anything would help, if you are a parent, you probably already know the cost of what it’s like to have a child and all the emotions you feel or have felt when that child is born. Since they can’t come home for AT LEAST Winona s let’s ORIGINAL DUE DATE JANUARY 13th I'd like to ask you all to try to help and take care of Andrew, Vanessa and Baby Winona while they are stuck in another country. As a great friend of Vanessa and her family , I put together this page for them to help raise money towards their medical bills and living cost. Thank you all  for reading and support
