Support our sweet friend Michele

Our sweet friend, sister, and daughter Michele found out in March that she has Invasive Ductal Carcinoma breast cancer.  The great news is that it is Stage 1 cancer.   Though it was caught early, a double mastectomy is unfortunately still the best course of treatment and .  Though in a few months, Michele will be back to her happy, active lifestyle, there is a fight ahead. It is a fight against cancer we know she will overcome.  She has had so much courage, kept her positive outlook, and is keeping some semi-balance of a normal life.  Being a teacher she will not get paid for her time off after the surgery and she has already had to spend $2,000 for tests because she has to meet her deductible first.  She has several more appointments and tests before her surgery and each has a copay and the cost of the procedure.  We want Michele to only focus on healing and not so much on the financial aspect of everything.  Please show your support with an encouraging word and small donation to assist her in this difficult, but temporary chapter of her life.
