Hello!
My name is Mia Rojas and I am an aspiring opera singer. This past summer I was given the chance of a lifetime; to spend five weeks in the birthplace of Mozart - Salzburg, Austria. It was by far the most intense, invigorating and successful summer program I have ever been to. I have grown as a musician and person thanks to it and also made great connections.
I have been blessed and fortunate enough that this oportunity is before me again. I was accpted into the Salzburg Festival Program thru the Frost School of Music for this summer! Apart from having German class each day for 3 hours, the porgram this year also includes movement, acting and yoga classes. These classes will help build on my techniques and skills to become an overall stronger musican and performer.
However, getting accepted is one thing; actually being able to pay for it is another. I have receive some scholarship but I need to raise $5000 by the end of May to help finish paying for the tuition.
Where does the money go to?
- Tuition: $6450 ( Includes housing, classes, breakfast and lunch)
- Airfare: $1600 (round trip)
It would be a great help and mean the world to me if you could donate even the smallest amout. Every penny helps! :) Please help send me to Salzburg and give me a leg up to starting my career!
