The Mekhi MCElroy College Fund

We wanted to share the story of a young man in need of community support and encouragement. Mekhi is currently a Junior at Livermore High School and a member of the LHS Varsity Football Team.
His family has suffered tremendous loss over the years. His sister died in 1998, his Grandmother in 2008, and his brother was murdered in 2010.
He and his mom battled with her addiction and homelessness for 4 years. He was separated from her in 2014 and she finally passed in 2015 on the 4th of July.
He currently resides with his aunt and cousin (former LHS player) in Livermore. He is an outgoing, positive and hardworking kid with a good heart. A group of coaches and other community members have decided to come together and support his desire to go to college.
A Trust has been established through the generous donation of time by Hall, Bishop & Hall LLP of Pleasanton. Any funds raised through Go Fund Me as well as donated directly to the bank account associated with the trust will be used towards funding this dream. Checks can also be made payable to:
