In Memory of Mavi Jones

On Tuesday 15th March 2016, 2 ½ year old Maverick Jones tragically passed away on the family's farm in rural NSW. It was a horrifically devastating accident involving a forklift in which he died instantly.
This beautiful, brown-eyed, blonde-haired little boy brought joy and love to the hearts of hundreds of people, and according to those who knew him the best, Mavi was the sunshine of many; he had a smile to light up the world and was happy and cheeky!
His 12 year old sister and 10 year old brother live on, along with his wonderful loving parents Dale & Jess. They have however faced some challenges with beginning their family. Each of their children, especially Mavi were a small miracle. And while no loss is easy, this makes it an especially hard burden to bear.
For now they are surrounded by their amazing family, and as a couple are miraculously uniting together and are maintaining a strength through this most tragic time in their lives. However, their burden won’t be easy. They will carry this one forever and it will be a massive adjustment for their precious family.
So what can WE do to HELP them? As they live remotely, their two older children Zari & Zedi undertake their schooling through 'School of the Air'. Their education will need to continue and they are going to need our support.
Being on the land, the costs of an impending funeral for Mavi along with the ongoing costs of everyday life and family, and keeping a business running, are enough for them to deal with during this time of turmoil.
SO, we would like to raise enough funds for them to have an Au Pair/Governess there to support them in their daily life and help with teaching the children. This is Jess & Dale's wish, and with no immediate family close by, this would be an immense help to them both!
In addition to easing the cost of living, $10,000 will allow them to have the support of an Au Pair/Governess for the next 4 months. $20,000 will provide support for the next 8 months and $30,000 for 12 months! If funds were to exceed this amount, they would be used to continue to support the needs of the family ongoing to enable them to take the time to do what they need as a family.
If you feel the urge to give, please do so NOW! As they need help as soon as possible, this family will appreciate your support, however big or small, EVERY dollar counts right now!
If just 2,000 people contributed $20 each we would far surpass the goal! We believe with God that this CAN be done!
We can already see how far the rays of Mavi are reaching so let’s help the sunshine of this beautiful boy spread further and unite with them on their long journey. Their pain is incomprehensible, and 2 ½ is just too young to die.
