My name is Mark Anthony Hamauei Jr, my friends and family call me Markee. When my mommy was 5 months pregnant with me the doctors told her I would need heart surgery. She was upset, to say the least. My mommy ended up in the hospital with several complications 2 months before I was born. Then when I was only 8 days old the doctors found a bigger issue. I was lacking a full immune system. I was flown to Texas Children's Hospital in Houston Texas to ensure I had the best care. So, when I was only 9 days old I had open heart surgery. Dr. Mckenzie did an awesome job on my heart. I found out after several tests that I have Digeorge Syndrome. Now I just need to wait for my transplant in mid April. I may have to be flown to North Carolina for my transplant at Duke University or be undergoing a bone marrow transplant. This will be very costly. My daddy has been traveling back and forth every week to be with me and mommy, but it is now not in their funds to make the trip and Insurance is no longer covering my mommy to stay with me. This has really hit my mommy and daddy hard. Please, if you can, donate what you can, and please help share my campaign so my mommy and daddy can see and stay with me. I may not be able to be with them at home right now, but PLEASE, help them be able to be with me.
