Hello,
Help me to reach my goals and start this new chapter of my life! I was really hesitant to post this, as many of you who know me can attest that I hate asking for help, but I am in a rough spot. I could really use some assistance in this transitional time. As a friend of mine pointed out, we all need a little help sometimes. I am looking to use this fund to help cover living expenses, specifically rent, while I make the transition from full time student, to working man. I have a disability and am a former foster youth, so this time has been challenging.
Over this past year I have moved to California from Ohio and have graduated from a one-year masters program in social work. I have started pursuing employment, made some amazing friends and have even been struggling and fighting some issues with my disability and health. I am very blessed for all I have been given and all I have accomplished. It is my goal to use this fund to assist in the cost of my rent as I look for work. I am so grateful for all the support I have received to reach my goals. I want to use my education to help others that have been in similar situations or have overcome similar challenges. I want to make a difference and pay this kindness forward.
