March to Macy's for Rockford Bands

Help the Rockford Marching Band students get to the 2017 Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade in New York City!!!

Only the third band in the state of Michigan and the very first from West Michigan to be selected to march in the parade in its 91-year history, they will represent Michigan in front of more than 3.5 million people along the parade route and more than 50 million viewers on television.

The scale of the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade is immense and being selected to perform on this
world stage is an achievement realized by only a select few every year. Rockford Marching Band is one of only 10 bands chosen from a field of over 200 of the best high school, college, military and specialty bands across the country. 

The costs associated with the transportation, lodging, and accommodations for a band of over 325 students in one of the most expensive cities in the country are high. If we raise $10,000, it will reduce each student's cost by $30. Every dollar helps!
