Mangok Bol - Rescue Abducted Children

$35,435 of $40,000 goal

Raised by 593 people in 53 months

A note from Bol

How we will use the money:

1. We are now involved in searching for and attaining the 4 abducted children, my nieces and nephews: Makuei (2), Abiei (8), Ajoh (6), and Anyieth (4). I am leaving for South Sudan next week to meet with organizations and individuals on the ground.

2. Once we recover the children we will need to be able to care for and support them as they are now orphans. Both of their parents, my brother and sister-in-law, were murdered in last week's attack of Kolnyang.

It has now been 3 years since Anyieth and Makuei
were rescued and returned to their extended family. They are both doing well. Mangok Bol continues to support them with school fees, clothing, and medical bills. Thank you all for the love you have shown these two children, and all of the rescued children. Mangok Bol is still holding out hope that one day his final missing niece will be returned to the family. The team on the ground is in touch and are positive about the effort.

Dear Friends, we would like to share with you the pictures of my nieces. This is a transitional journey of their lives since they were recovered about two years. The girls and their brother who is not in the pictures are doing well and attending schools. In the pictures are Ajoh Makech now 11 years( in pink uniform, Nairobi, Kenya) living with my sister. The other niece in the picture is Anyieth Makech now 9 years old(in yellow dress) and living in Koboko Uganda with my mom and my other sister. As always, thank you very much for being part of their recovery!
Last but not least, we're still pushing every single day for the return of their sister, Abiei Makech, 13 years old and who is still being held by her captors.
