missionary trip

I have recently been given the opportunity for a missions, culture and language trip to Argentina & Chile. I will be part of a 30 member group of students and adults traveling on the 7th of July with our director of missions, Mr. Ignacio Brache and several other adults, including a police officer from the LAPD who is the parent of one of our mission team mates. Our return date is on July 24th.

Each of the participants will have a second luggage free of charge; we will travel by air via Lima, Peru, and by chartered bus while in Argentina. That 2nd luggage will have hygiene products such as toothpaste and toothbrushes, children's chewable vitamins, girls  and boys socks and undies, toys, candy and educational material such as rulers and coloring pencils, glue sticks, etc.  This bag along with our own, will each weigh 50 lbs., and we will also take backpack for our other personal needs and for  our use while on the mission. 

We are privileged to re-connect with chile, as our Hillcrest Christian School started that project with Dr. James green, a former chemistry teacher,man ordained pastor and founder of the church we will visit in Santiago, the capital. That church and Dr. Green also founded a school in the southern part of Chile, and we will take educational material to them as well. 

I am very  excited to have this opportunity, and I ask for your prayers for the trip and myself. I know that I will have more  than a pleasant traveling experience through these beautiful countries with wonderful people. Besides the language and culture experience, I will have a first hand assignment of blessing many children by delivering these goods, playing with them and doing  the assignments designated by our director.

My due date to collect all of the funds will be by July 1st.  If you can help me financially, whatever amount, I will greatly appreciate it and will always be thankful for this opportunity.
