Luke's YWAM New Zealand trip

Let me start with thanking you for your support. For being in my corner and encouraging me throughout high school. With that being said, I wanted to share with you some of the exciting things coming up in my life.

      Starting in September, I’ll be taking a gap year to serve with YWAM (Youth With A Mission) in New Zealand. This is a 6-month program, specifically focused on climbing. For the first half of the program, we will be living in community, studying scripture and learning what outreach looks like. For the second half of the program, I will be in India putting into practice what I’ve learned about outreach and building relationships with others.

     I’m excited because I think this could be an incredibly influential time in my faith and in my life in general. I want to see how the Lord will shape and grow me through all of these experiences. I’m also excited to be in community with like-minded climbers, who are trying to figure out what their walk with the Lord looks like day-to-day.

     Knowing all of this, would you keep my YWAM team and myself in your prayers? We will take all of the prayer support we can get, knowing that we are going to be stretched in ways we’ve never imagined.
