2014

"Since affirming my truth and announcing that I am a transgender woman this year I have had so many amazing opportunities. I've created my modeling page, traveled to New York City for photoshoots and I have  been able to share space with so many Trans pioneers, activists, and thought leaders from this movement. With the help of four of my sisters, we created the  Ohio chapter of Trans Women of Color Collective , lead live twitter discussions with #BlackLivesMatter,  and have been actively working to raise visibility and ensure quality of life for #girlslikeus in Ohio. I have done all of this so far with little to no money. Luckily for me I belong to a community of people who make things happen and I have been taken care of, housed, fed, and uplifted the entire time.  Unfortunately, without resources it's hard for me to keep doing the work of living day to day life.  Living my truth has been the most fulfilling choice I have ever made, but I am still a trans woman of color in a society that is only just starting to accept the fact that we exist. This Gofundme is to help me really get my foot in the door of the world. I am asking that you donate to me being able to be self-actualized in my life. Being able to change my name and gender-marker, being able to see a doctor, being able to travel safely, being able to eat, and being able to do work where my life isn't in danger. This is an investment to help a revolutionary self-love warrior create the life I have always dreamed of. Below is some of the work I have been doing in 2014. "

I understand that monetary donations are not a possibility for everyone, but if you could share this campaign with your networks using the hashtags #AdvanceAaryn and #LoveAaryn it would put me that much closer to my goal. Always directing me to resources or connections to work would be just as helpful. Thank you all so much for believing in me, and trusting me with your hearts and minds. We are changing the world. Thank you!
