I am Lisa the owner of Living Images the reason I create this GoFundme is because I need your help. Let me share a story you may not know about me.
Feel free to watch the video of the story on this page as well.
Just after opening Living Images a lot of crazy stuff happened to me and my family. Chris, my husband was working for a company who had just got bought out and they decided to let some people go and Chris found himself without a job. I then found out I was pregnant with our third child, Charlie and with Chris out of work I was trying to make a living for our family, but Living Images was too new.
We lived off our savings, a discover card and with help from our church, friends and family.
During this transition we lost our healthcare with Chris's job and when I was just 29 weeks pregnant while scanning a client here at Living Images I started leaking fluid. Now I know some of you mommies can relate thinking I just peed myself, but this was my third child and I knew what amniotic fluid felt like. I went to the doctor right away he confirmed that I was leaking amniotic fluid and rushed me to Pensacola and they put me on bedrest in the hospital until Charlie was born premature at 31 weeks and 4 days.
While on bedrest I remember receiving that first medical bill, which was over twenty thousand dollars!
Charlie was in the hospital for another 6 weeks and while there he contracted MRSA, pulled out his breathing CPAP and had a small brain hemorrhage. Every day I drove the two hour journey round trip from Fort Walton Beach to Pensacola praying and hoping that Charlie would be okay.
Thanks be to God, Charlie made it out of the hospital and to this day is growing, learning and healthy.
However, after returning from the hospital those medical bills kept coming and coming. I stopped counting them after the balance passed one hundred and twenty two thousand dollars! We paid on them for over four years the the best we could, but the balance kept increasing and the debt collectors became increasingly belligerent.
Then one day a very mean bill collector, I remember her name was Amanda, called and she said to me, “You are never going to pay these medical bills off. Your son is going to be paying his own medical bills off someday!”
I began to cry and I felt so hopeless, but she was right. I eventually had to file for medical bankruptcy.
This is why I need your help today. You see this is my ultrasound scanning partner, my machine, I call him Javier, is very sick and needs replaced as soon as possible for me to continue helping mommies and daddies. Because of my bankruptcy years ago I am unable to get the financing to pay the third five thousand needed for this new ultra sound machine.
I have tried three different lenders and they have all said no due to my personal credit from the bankruptcy. So as a last resort, today I am reaching out to my family, friends and you; the families I've been blessed to work with through Living Images to help me raise the thirty five thousand needed for the new machine.
You can preorder an HD live package or if you are done having babies and I have blessed you in the past and you just want to pitch in a few dollars that would help tremendously.

More info:
Since 2007 Living Images 3d/4d Ultrasound Studio has provided a meaningful service for expectant parents. Mommies & daddies to be can experience "meeting" their baby before he or she is born. Ultrasound is amazing and 4d ultrasound is aww inspiring .
Military daddies can be involved in the bonding experience via video correspondence even when they are far away from their families. Families have an entirely different experience at Living Images during an ultrasound verses in a doctor's office setting.
It brings such joy to my heart to witness the excitement of parents finding out the gender of their little one . The anticipation! Seeing multiple generations of a family surrounding the baby with love even before they're born, I can't ask for a more rewarding job! One can literally feel the love.
The trusted ultrasound machine that has helped this happen is getting old. Although well maintained it needs to be replaced. However, I do not have the capital or credit to purchase a new machine. Together we can purchase a GE Voluson S8 with HDLive. This is a state of the art machine. The image quality is beautiful.
Our gratitude of your help will live on forever. This is the only way to save this locally owned and personally operated business. Given the chance Living Images will continue to offer this amazing service to the community, especially our military community. Thank you for supporting this venture. If the goal is not reached Living Images may have no choice but to close.
Regardless of the outcome,I feel blessed!
Thank you so much.
Disclaimer: I can only offer packages at the donation levels from above if all funds are raised.
