Jenn Osborn Memorial & Trust 4 Ella

Jennifer Osborn was a loving Mother, Sister, Daughter, and friend. On Monday, April 6th, 2015 she lost her life very suddenly at the age of 34. Tragically she leaves behind a beautiful 2 year old daughter.

Though her time here was very short, she made a huge impact on everyone. Almost 3 years ago she found out that she was pregnant with her daughter Ella. Jen always thought she could never have a child, so when she announced she was pregnant everyone was thrilled! However, this was cut short when she was diagnosed with HELLP Syndrome causing her to nearly lose her life bringing this little angel into the world. "HELLP syndrome is a life-threatening obstetric complication usually considered to be a variant or complication of pre-eclampsia" sourced from Wikipedia (for those who don't know what HELLP is). Even though she made it thru the delivery and was happy to be a new mom, her body never fully recovered. Shortly after giving birth her kidneys started to fail. For over a year she went thru test after test to keep track of how her kidney function was doing, and was very diligent with all recommendations from the doctors to stay in good shape. Unfortunately no matter what she did her kidneys just weren’t recuperating. Thus she started the long process to start Dialysis and be put on a kidney donor waiting list. Over the past year she has under gone multiple procedures and 3-4 times a week dialysis appointments until she could receive her new kidneys.

One week before her passing she complained that it was beginning to get hard for her to breathe. She was rushed to the hospital where they found a bacterial infection in her chest port and a slight case of phenomena. She was in ICU for a few days until they could remove the port and get her on antibiotics to control the phenomena. Once she was released from the hospital she returned home where she told everyone how much better she felt. She spent Easter weekend with family and helped her daughter go Easter egg hunting at Silver Springs. No one could have expected what happened next. On Sunday evening she called her mother saying that she couldn’t breath and to call the paramedics. By the time her mother arrived she was found unconscious and not breathing. CPR was performed until the paramedics could arrive to take her to the hospital. Once at the hospital she was once again in ICU but this time on life support. After multiple tests we were told that she had no brain activity, and if it didn’t improve in 24 hours we should let her go. This was shocking to us all. This young mother was (what we all seemed to see) perfectly fine earlier that day. The doctors said that she had suffered a heart attack combined with a binary stroke (stroke to both sides of the brain) to which she would never recover. Within hours of hearing this news the doctors informed us that even on life-support her body was giving out. They couldn’t do anything else to keep her alive. We all prayed and said our goodbyes. At just before 8pm on Monday April 6th, 2015 our Jennifer Osborn took her final breathe. In the wake of this we are left with a beautiful 2 year little girl and the father of the child (her fiancé and love of her life)!

Thru out all the painful procedures, sickness, and hospital visits Jen never complained one time about how she felt. She used to always say, “I’m ok, don’t worry.” There was always a bright light in her eyes and a smile on her face. She gave us all comfort when she was the one going thru the pain. We can only wish we had her strength and courage going thru what she went thru.

We have started this Go Fund me account to help raise money for the memorial and to start a trust for her 2 year old little girl Ella (we call her Ella Bear). Jen had no savings or life insurance policy to help in this time of need. Please help by donating whatever you can, and if you wish for it to be specifically donated to either the memorial or the trust please let us know so we can make sure it goes there. We thank you all for your love and support. And just know that Jen’s legacy and love will live in forever!!!! #Live4Jen
