New Lungs For Lisa
Donation protected
Lisa Trepper was listed for a double lung transplant in November 2014. 7 months later she was so very fortunate to get a great new set of lungs on June 17th 2015. Thanks to the Nazih Zuhdi Transplant center an all their hard work in finding the perfect match for her.
Her lungs are doing really great now, but during surgery Lisa Suffered 2 strokes that impaired her right arm. She spent 23 days total in the Hospital, 1 day in ICU, 12 days on the transplant recovery floor, and 10 days on the Jim Thorpe rehabilitation floor at Integris Baptist Medical Center. She is still having to do physical therapy at home on her right arm. PT nurses come 3 times a week to work with her arm. Unfortunately Lisa is also right handed so she will have to relearn how to write, type, and many other things. She has a long hard road to recovery ahead of her and she could use your help.
